I like the idea of maintaining an Oppo drivetribe for longer form posts and all get more engagement, and mainly using the hyphen site. Like how opposite-blog works in with the main oppo

Yeah, that might work. I’m not giving up on it immediately; I’m just allergic to corporate bullshit. Maybe I just need to bookmark something besides the front page, so I don’t see them as much... still figuring out how that site works.
The hyphen site seems to be down at the moment, but I’m curious to check it out.

Drivetribe looks like its about to kick the bucket anyway. Searching for user cars, there really wasn't much when I looked for some even slightly obscure cars.
